Amber is the founder and lead Myotherapist at Aligned Myotherapy, which she established in 2017 after moving to Geelong with her family. Having faced her own physical challenges—ranging from migraines and shoulder surgery to lower back issues and multiple medical procedures—Amber has always been driven to find answers, both for herself and for others. To deepen her understanding of the body and learn the very techniques that helped turn her life around, Amber spent two years studying for her Diploma in Clinical Pilates.
Her journey through these obstacles has shaped her belief in the importance of learning from all walks of life and diverse perspectives within the Allied Health Industry. Amber reflects, “I wouldn’t necessarily want to go through it all again, but I wouldn’t change it for the world! Those experiences have deepened my understanding of the body and the nervous system in ways I truly cherish.”
Amber believes that restoring the body’s natural movement can lead to significant improvements in overall well-being. With a special interest in chronic pain and conditions, she emphasizes that achieving this often involves understanding the nervous system and the brain, as well as recognizing the journey that brought us to where we are today. With her compassionate approach, Amber is dedicated to helping others reclaim their movement and enhance their quality of life.
